Thanks to this tool, you don't have to restart your computer in order to delete it. LockHunter lets you get rid of these stubborn files without interrupting whatever else you're doing.

LockHunter detects which process is using the file and forces the process to release it so you can delete the file with no problem.

But that's not all: LockHunter also shows you which process is using the file and additional information about it, and it even lets you kill the process.

Another interesting feature is that you can use the application directly from the context menu by right-clicking the file and selecting What is locking this file?
